Do not buy from this seller. He sells fake Pokémon packs for crazy amount of money. Honestly how vinted can't detect these fake Pokémon products? If you come across him, report ASAP!!! He blocked me right after I asked why he is selling fake Pokémon packs...

Just posted a jacket on vinted and been sent an email asking for some information. After replying, the person still wants to buy the item but has send a request through email. This is what happens if i click the link, Is this a scam?

Hey guys, so really need your help of how to deal with scammers…
I purchased an item in a “very good” condition from a seller with a lot of reviews, but I received a completely damaged item full of stains, peels and other damages. Obviously it was not “very good” condition and the photos on the listing did not show all this damages. I reported it and the seller chose that I will be sending the item back on my own expenses. And did not answer my messages. When I sent the item back (I used seller’s original packaging that was just a thin plastic bag + I added 3 layers of my own packaging); the seller immediately started replying and basically insulting me, laughing at me and calling me naive to believe that he would have sent me a good item. I reported it to Vinted support, that the seller is a scammer making fun of victims. They replied to me that he doesn’t violate any rules. Okay, I was just waiting for my partial refund

The seller picked up my return and disappeared. Two days later I get a message from Vinted saying that I’m not going to get my $ back as the item was damaged because of the packaging. That is an obvious scam from the seller, because I packed the return in his packaging + my own packaging. It was double protected compared to his original packaging. And I also have a video recording me unpacking the item (so the packaging and all the damages are seen), and I also did a video of sending the item back and how it’s packaged. As I was expecting that something can go wrong with this type of seller…. But Vinted isn’t helpful: they claim that the decision is made and if I want to proof that I was being scammed and my packing was good, I can start to get a legal advice :)

What should I do in this situation? I was believing that taking video evidence of unpacking, packing and sending was more than enough to get a resolution in case I’m faced to a scammer on Vinted. It results they don’t care 😕

This actually made me laugh. I buy spoons as a hobby and this seller uploaded completely fake and Ai altered photos to his listing, then he tried to belittle me that I need glasses because in his opinion I see too much detail difference. Then he blocked me. I'll let you be a judge. Have a look at the photos of our conversation and his listing 😆 read till the end 😂.

Buyers beware of this seller listing SHEIN items for 3x the amount and cutting off tags. Theres already been couple people fallen for these and buying them! Seller already has negative review. IT DOES NOT TAKE LESS THEN A MIN to do a google search. Seller is definitely aware they are reselling SHEIN/TEMU products.

Edit**I definitely made some people mad by using the word “scam.” I just wanted to clarify that there are reviews saying the seller cuts the tags off items and resells them as “unknown brand.” When those items are presented in a way that makes people think they’re buying authentic vintage Y2K clothing, it’s scammy.
I’m a reseller myself. I source vintage pieces and cute tops that aren’t fast fashion. I’ve sold SHEIN items before, but I priced them below the price on SHEIN’s website because it doesn’t feel right to mark up something that buyers can easily find online for less.
I’m not saying everyone has to agree with my opinion on reselling. I just wanted to explain what I meant, because people are dragging me over one word.

People always say that Vinted sides with the buyer so what do I do please give me advice
