Could I have CV?
Losing hope. I’ve gone to the OBGYN for years feeling like something is not “right” down there. Last summer I went to the GYN and I tested positive for BV and got put on antibiotics and was negative for BV at the time of my retest. Months later, I still felt like something wasn’t right. I was having an ammonia odor and thick, white discharge, so I asked for a Ureaplasma test. This test came back positive, so I took a round of Doxycycline. Again, I still had thick, white discharge, so I went to get tested again for Ureaplasma. Thankfully, it was negative and my provider recommended that I remove my IUD. It’s been 3 months now since I’ve removed my IUD, and I also got retested for Ureaplasma and everything came back negative. The provider recommended I take probiotics and boric acid but I’m still not finding any relief in that. My discharge is still thick, white and almost has a sour odor. Should I go back and ask for a wet prep?
