Taking piercings out before surgery

Taking piercings out before surgery

Hey everyone, my surgery is tomorrow and I’ve been so busy and working tonight 😣 I have a few piercings I can’t get out on my own without a piercer like my high nostrils and one nasal piercing. Will I be turned away? I haven’t gotten my surgery time yet but I’m worried no piercing shops will be open

Hi everyone, I just had my pre op appt this morning! My appointment for surgery is May 21st (it feels SO CLOSE) and I’m still trying to find pictures or healed results for radical reduction that have somewhat similar body types to myself.

I was wondering if anyone here in this group has had a radical reduction and is willing to share:

-your experience
-healed results (feel free to dm if that’s comfortable)
-how you communicated with you surgeon
-what did you ask for?
-what were your goals?

I’m about 5’6 and somewhere around 200lbs. I’m currently a size 36D-ish(I never wear actual bras really, only sports bras since regular ones kinda give me dysphoria). I am going into this surgery with the hopes of coming out with either small B/A cups. I know cup size is not a great way to measure what results you are looking for so if you have any suggestions on how to convey what you asked for, I’m all ears!

As far as what I have already discussed with my surgeon (Dr. Lien at Providence plastic surgery in Everett, WA), I’m open to FNG if it means I can hit my desired results but ideal if I’m able to go without.

I’ve been on TikTok, YouTube, this sub, and have just been searching for either healed results or pictures of natural breasts (I’m less sure where to find these without ending up in a porno site lol).

I’m excited to be able to eventually share my own before and after photos here after 3 years of scouring through this sub 🥹 which, thank you to everyone that has shared their journey! Being able to see others experiences had given me to hope and courage to pursue this surgery. I’m so excited to finally feel excited about wearing shirts other than oversized tees 😭

Hi everyone, I’ve been somewhat of a lurker here on this sub for the past two years.

It feels surreal but I just got a call about scheduling my appointment and I could have it as soon as May 21st! I’m currently a 36D (I think) and looking to be brought down to a small b or an a cup. I know reductions are technically all gender affirming care but as someone who has never really resonated with having bigger breasts, this surgery date has me emotional around being able to feel more comfortable in my own body.

I’m sure I’ll sift through previous posts here as well after posting this but I’m curious if there is any advice you wish you had gotten and recommendations for anything I need to have a good recovery.

Im open to any kind words of encouragement, advice, product recommendations, or anything really❤️

I just started a gofundme yesterday to help try to offset the loss of income while I recover (I work as a bartender so I’m going to be out for a while😅) and this feels like it’s all happening so fast after it taking months and months to even get a consult. I’m overwhelmed with joy and also anxious with how quickly things are moving and not knowing what all I need to prepare for
