What inspires you to worldbuild?

i know inspiration can strike from anywhere and from anything. im curious about what made you say THAT right there. i want to see that come to life and i want to share it with the world?

ill go first. My inspiration comes from my sons wild imagination and my inability to not stop asking what if? and how?

Is a game considered a TCG if it uses the cards as the reward for interaction with tokens?

Ive created a game (still under construction) that uses Collector grade artwork of ecology theme as the reward for gaining a certain level of knowledge about the creature. manipulation of the scene to gain that knowledge is used by tokens and exploring a scene.

id like to know if its considered a TCG or a boardgame because it has a board. but it has literal trading cards. i need help.
