I’ve had problems with this car before. Mainly with the trunk and GPS. But after the latest software update it has been flawless. We just got back from a ~6,000 km cross-Europe trip, including driving up Furka and other passes in Switzerland. Loved every second of driving the car. Even briefly hit 205kmph on the Autobahn. Special shout out to the Audi charging card because I didn’t have to fluff around with downloading local charging apps. Worked perfectly in all 10 countries we charged in. Also love how accurate the car’s GPS was with changing countries. We had a bit of fun in Baarle-Nassau constantly jumping between Netherlands and Belgium.

I live in Poland. An hour away from the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad. Got my Q6 in February. Coming from four years with the OG e-tron, it felt like a downgrade. But not a big deal. Great car. Drives well. Cheaper than my previous e-tron. Didn’t see any of the problems I keep seeing in Reddit, except the tailgate not closing properly two to three times a week. But that had an easy fix thanks to Gemini. Bit annoying but not a big deal.

Two days ago, I got hit with the GPS bug. The car thinks it is somewhere else. So navigations stopped working, all the adaptive cruise features stopped working. I tried all the usual fixes, nothing worked. I called Audi and booked an appointment in the next few weeks. Figured I could live without GPS for a bit even if it is also messing up navigation in CarPlay (turns out navigation in both Google Maps and Apple Maps uses the car’s GPS, not the phone’s GPS when the phone is connected through CarPlay) But today the funny thing happened. The GPS signal drifted so far that the car started thinking it is in Russia. So I got a “Welcome to Russia” message and everything died. No CarPlay, no cruise control, no lane assist, nothing. I can still drive the car but without any tech (which made me realise how great the OG e-tron was and how much I came to rely on tech)

TLDR: so done with this car
