This adorable little creature might possibly be the spawn of Satan!

Just kidding.... Kinda.

She's 10 weeks old and full of piss and vinegar that's for sure. I'm just glad my 3 yr old Crested actually likes her!

9 week old puppy is killing me

Let me preface this by saying I've been working in the dog industry for almost 20 years. I've had many a puppy.

Two months ago my heart dog passed away at 15. She was a Chinese crested mix that made me want a full Chinese crested. I got her sister Starla 3 years ago and she is close to being a heart dog as well. I had the opportunity to get a puppy from her dad, who was born a day before my older dog passed away. Everything felt like a sign. I was excited.

This is the worst puppy I've ever tried to crate train. She screeches and makes ungodly noises at all hours of the night and I live in an apartment. I don't like keeping puppies in my room, I like for them to learn to be independent but it's getting closer and closer to my breaking point where I might bring her crate into the bedroom.

My boyfriend who was on board with puppy does not help at all so I'm constantly waking up to take her out or shush her (I can't let her cry it out in an apartment).

I'm crying nightly and can't bond with her at all because I'm losing so much sleep.

I guess I'm just venting because I don't know what else to do.

Welcome home puppy!

Brought this little girl home on Thursday. Boy does she have some lungs on her! We're having the nightly screamies.

Other than that, taking to going potty outside very quickly and my other crested Starla actually doesn't completely hate her!

Still haven't come up with the right name though. Was going to name her Vendetta but it doesn't fit her at all!

So back to brainstorming.

Anyways, everyone meet the lil lady!

Two weeks until new pup!

Hello! On June 6th I lost my soulmate. Vespa was a 15 year old Crested/Chihuahua/Yorkie mix. She had been fighting gastric cancer for over a year. 3 years ago I brought home her little sister, Starla who has also been the light of my life.

Her breeder has unfortunately retired but had asked a client/friend of hers to have a few more litters with Starla's dad for some people on the wait-list. I put down a deposit for a future hhl female, not knowing when there would be pups. Well a day before Vespa passed away, a litter was born and there was only one hhl girl. I felt like it was a sign!

She comes home in 2 weeks and I'm nervous and excited!

Here are some pics of Vespa and Starla, and still unnamed baby girl!

Need help with my son's betta

Hey everyone,

I got my son a betta probably about 1.5 years ago, not sure how old the fish was we got him but I've been trying to make sure I'm doing everything right, testing the water and doing 20% water changes, etc. I'm a first time betta owner so I'm sure there's still a lot to learn. Gh is 120, kh is 120, ph is 7.5, nitrates and nitrites are 0. Gh and kh always seem high no matter what I do since I got him but he's always seemed happy.

We moved about 6 months ago and ever since, I feel like the fish has declined.

For a week now he's been hanging out on the bottom of the tank, kinda sideways. He seems tired after coming up for air and still seems hungry but isn't that great at spotting his food. I moved him to a "hospital tank" so that he doesn't have to swim too far, since his regular tank is a 10 gallon. I gave him his plant perch which I think he appreciated and made a little bubble nest in the corner. He's had one salt bath today with aquarium salt (separate container) but I just have no idea what could possibly be wrong with him, what to look for or if he's just on his way out.

I'm attaching some pictures of him when we first got him, and now. He looks like a completely different fish now!

Any help would be appreciated.
