10+ weeks and counting: Skoda dealership in Pune has "no updates" on my Kushaq delivery

Need some advice or reality checks on Skoda delivery timelines right now, specifically in Pune.

  • Booked Kushaq Classic Plus MT on May 13th.
  • Official email stated 6-8 weeks waiting, sales rep promised under 2 months.

It has been 10+ weeks (2.5 months) with zero progress.

Every time I follow up with the Pune showroom, I get the same copy-paste answers: "We will try by this month-end" or "No updates from the company."

Is anyone else facing this massive delay for the Kushaq Classic+ variant? How are Pune dealerships handling your deliveries, and how did you get them to finally cooperate?

Feeling Stuck With My Portfolio. Looking for Honest Opinions

I'm a 26M investor and honestly I'm feeling stuck right now.

I've made investing mistakes in the past, and now with the market being so uncertain, I'm scared to make any move. I don't know if I should hold my current holdings or start selling some positions.

Please rate my portfolio and be as honest as you can. What would you do if you were in my position? Which holdings would you keep, which would you sell, and why?

Any suggestions or constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey folks,

I’m planning to buy Skoda Kushaq facelift, but the Bangalore road tax (~₹2L) honestly shocked me. So if I finance the car, I’m essentially paying interest on that road tax as well, using already-taxed income.

The dealer suggested a workaround:
Take temp registration → go to another state → get BH registration if I have docs and come back.

I actually have relatives in Pune, so I COULD arrange a rental agreement + update address + get Form 60 with Pune address (I can generate this in no time).

Plan is basically:
Buy from Pune → register BH → bring it to BLR

But now I’m wondering:

  • Is this safe or risky jugaad?
  • Will I get into trouble later (RTO, insurance, cops)?
  • Has anyone here actually done this?

Feels like I found a loophole… but not sure if it’ll bite me later 😅

Would really appreciate some honest advice before I pull the trigger.

[Update]

  • Math tells me I can save up ~2x the amount I need to pay for BH every 2 years, in a year (BH fees are ~25k every 2 years)

I'm saving 49k yearly just but opting for BH
