Has anyone had a good experience with Lincoln financial?

Has anyone had a good experience dealing with a disability claim through a policy provided by Lincoln financial group?

I have a long-term disability policy provided by my employer through Lincoln financial group. I am 18 months into my two year “own occupation“ policy timeframe, which will turn into “any occupation“ at the two year mark. I have MS, which has continued to progress over the last few years, so unfortunately, I do not foresee getting better than my current level of disability, which is crippling.

LFG has been tolerable if disorganized to deal with thus far, but they are very dodgy when I ask them what the process is when I hit the two year mark, which led to me doing some additional research. All I find are horror stories about LFG denying claims, putting people under surveillance, and pulling approvals years into a long-term disability claim based on a non-medical “expert”. Literally story after story and I have yet to find anyone who has had anything good to say. I am trying to make a plan as to what I might need to do next to ensure that my benefits are not dropped.

So I’m wondering if anyone has had a good experience with LFG or even had a straightforward process with their LTD claim with them? Or are they almost impossible to deal with every single time?
