An update on baby Gunther

I posted a while ago about how my boy needed surgery, pretty overwhelmed and depressed. Proud to update Gunther got the surgery he needed and is no longer in pain. We already see changes in his walking/posture and look forward to the rest of
his recovery!

Anyone with advice?

My baby was diagnosed with slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) it’s been around 1.5 months since I noticed a change in behavior. This week’s vet visit validated my concerns that he is in fact in pain even though he can still jump and play and purr. Looks like the next step is surgery and I am feeling really overwhelmed. Has anyone else experienced this and if anyone wants to dm me with advice, help, or literally anything, please feel free to message me :(

PSA

Wanting to live with people who own cats - it’s not abnormal to expect them to scoop EVERY DAY and deep clean ONCE a month. That’s the standard. Yall are living with animal abusers. Please stand up.

Btw: Not a professional. -_-
