I have had lupus and sjogrens 30yrs. I’m in a flare with pain when I breathe. I also having this very weird symptom, it feels like I am getting bit by deer flies. There are no bite marks it is definitely not bugs. Has anyone had this? I’m on a biological medication (Saphnelo) and plaquinil. Please share if you have experienced this and if any meds or treatments helped.
Hi, I have had lupus and sjogrens for 20yrs. Took prednisone at different doses for about 10 yrs until it gave me moonface and cushings symptoms. I started Saphnelo in 2023 and was able to get off prednisone:). The moonface went away. Now 3 yrs later I have high cortisol and moonface again without the steroids. Has anyone else experienced this? Is is likely to be a completely different problem?
Hi, I have been struggling with a number of symptoms including extreme fatigue, anxiety, weight gain, red/puffy face, waking at 3am sweating and my heart pounding. My am cortisol is high and my cortisol did not suppress to a low number. My dr suspects cushings. He won’t do the midnight saliva test because he says he doesn’t have the knowledge to interpret it. Can anyone recommend a dr who has experience with cushings in Toronto? Thanks!
