So, I'm on the group chat. I have yet to attend the party because the organization continues to be sloppy af.

Idk who the organizer is but everything is so poorly done.

Party's on a Monday. We're all busy. We're all working men. Last week's "party" was so poorly planned organizer was informing people with such tardiness and disregard for our time. He had initially informed the party would be at some FiDi bar, and then we learned he had simply secured two booths for us to hang there. No rented facilities, no dark room, no nothing. Just a booth with strangers. Seems pathetic.

I think the party had one successful event? Was it good? I think the crowd is weird, I don't think these are finance professionals at all and I especially do not think the organizer is a finance professional because he would be out the door from any shop or bbb after demonstrating such poor skills.

Yesterday, he started posting "stay tuned" as if something big was coming and this afternoon after a couple of people asked if the party was happening tonight he cancelled everything, lmao.

Also, some people have commented on the group chat how this is exactly like really sloppy organizing and he's taken the criticism rather badly and just deletes messages / bans you from the group.

It's like I'm dealing with an intern.

I'm 33/M planning a visit to Greece late August / early Sept. I have never been to Greece but I have really enjoyed places like Mallorca or Boracay.

I'm visiting from New York City and I'm really just trying to relax.

I'm gay. I know a lot of the gay guys from NYC love Mykonos for the beach clubs. I'm not opposed to a beach club one or two times (but I'll be on my own so kinda awkward). I'm really trying to book something more relaxed, but also nothing difficult to reach (trying to avoid ferries or multiple flights). A few guys mentioned Paros, Antipaxos or Kimolos.

I've done a little research and I'm thinking Antipaxos is wonderful but so difficult to get there. Are transfers easy in Greece? Is there anything you recommend? Should I just do Mykonos and maybe try to do another island too?

I only have time to do 1-2 islands. I'm trying to be there 7-10 days.

So I live in New York but I am currently in London with my boyfriend. He's British. I am a white-passing Mexican, but I lost the accent so I sound American. We're Gay. (Context)

The E is beautiful. I have no complaints. I know it's pricey but we pay for it because we travel a lot between the UK and the US, so it's a comfortable place for us. We got into town last Friday and have been going to the gym on a daily basis.

A little more context perhaps, I'm not an easy person but I'm very rational, so I tend to complain a lot but I'm not unmindful. I'm just obsessed with efficiency. I always think we're a bit like Claire (me) and Phil Dunphy (bf).

Anyway, we have spotted this man every day at the gym and he gives us really ugly looks. I know Equinox is hella gay, but he looks quite straight. We're a gay couple, so I always try to tread carefully around new people, even in liberal places like London. But from the very first day, I told my bf "this guy's homophobia is PALPABLE". Anyway, We've tried to ignore it.

However, we've had several run-ins with him all over the gym. He's always on his phone and he's very loud. He wears this cologne and it smells really bad, to the extent that I - unknowingly ( I mean it) - said out loud to my bf "omg what is that smell?" while we were working out next to him. And Idk like ... There's been friction, ok? But we have never engaged, we're civil. We do not talk to him.

So anyway, yesterday bro goes into the sauna with a buddy and me and my bf are there trying to relax and unwind. They are being super loud. Yapping non-stop. I turn to my bf and I roll my eyes. This guy immediately stops his conversation and says "oh yes, I know you hate it when I talk, and you hate that I'm loud and you hate how I smell. You hate everything, you're insufferable."

I turn to him shocked. My bf shocked. And this guy keeps going saying "I've been studying you these past few days. American, right? You're here with your English boyfriend. He seems alright, but you've got a stick up your ARSE." I'm baffled, but I immediately try to explain that I'm very sensitive to pungent smells and that, you know, it's kinda annoying if you're in the sauna or steam or even the locker room and there's someone having a conversation and being really loud, bc well... We're all just trying to relax in these sorta places.

We were really trying to de-escalate the situation but he kept going calling me a c*nt and we just left. I think he then went into the steam room or something. We showered really quick and talked to the front desk and explained what happened. I gave them physical remarks of the man but idk if they got to talk to him. We went to Kensington today trying to avoid him.

I'm hoping management said something. I really couldn't believe his behavior. We're flying to Amsterdam tomorrow morning, so.. Whatever. We won't see him again soon. But I just had never experienced something like this. I've been to EQX all over NYC, Toronto, ATX, LA, HTX and Boston and this behavior was something I've never experienced before.

Like, am I wrong or was there absolutely no latino representation? Besides the very lately added Javi (who's some sort of stereotypically unreliable hothead baseball player) and Beatriz Barrera who was essentially irrelevant.

Def more black folk than latinos... But this show is so white and I feel like it treats race like it's not a problem which is a utopia for the South
