Here at Shadow Break Games it been all about outer space, we have been messing about with wire frames on the playdate, trying to get things optimised for the little yellow handheld,  we have put together a small proof of concept game called Space Miner!

Its got full tutorial cards for all aspects of the game, you can mine, refine and sell Ore for credits to upgrade your ship, lots of little features like a docking mini game.

We have a second playdate catalog fishing game coming out Crank Bass (no official release date yet)

Massive thanks to everyone who has purchased Day Ticket, any suggestions on updates are greatly welcome.

Most of my playdate games consist of 2 frame animations or moving a static image across the screen, i am trying to create a movable character, is this acceptable, 64x64.

Cant believe it have got a game on the playdate!

Fun fact, all the fish in game are real images that I converted to Grayscale and then to bitmap, import into Asprite and cleaned everything up.

My fishing game, Day Ticket comes out on Tuesday and I am a little bit scared, i have been playing it non stop to make sure I squash any bugs, i have always made little games for fun but I have never had anything released, i really hope whoever plays it enjoys it, there will be links to my website if anyone has any problems or suggestions.

This is for my overseas cousins, Crank Bass, its coming along really well, I will eventually submit it for a catalog release

After this i will make a float fishing game and a full river and canal Fishing game with all types of fishing.
