I'm seeing a local 2015 i3 w/ range extender, 118k miles on it, clean title, no accidents reported, personal use only, for $7k. I checked the dealership and all their cars are pretty cheap. Maybe they're all lemons? Maybe the dealership is going out of business?
What should I look for, to make sure it's not a complete scam?
I have a 2013 Prius 4 with 190000-ish miles on it. Currently getting about 42 mpg. The internet tells me it should be more like 49. I had it checked recently - the EGR system is fine and the only thing that the mechanic recommended was to change the spark plugs. They haven't been replaced ever, apparently (I bought the car used.) I recently replaced the starter battery (not the hybrid battery, which apparently is doing great still).
Thoughts on this?
Anything else I should be considering?
Is it actually realistic to expect 49 mpg ish?
I know that now is when I should look at cleaning/replacing the EGR system, although I'm told that there's nothing wrong with it right now.
