Short synopsis

After neglect from the humans, a mysterious force has awoken in the forest and taking revenge on those who disrespect it. A main monster threat and a bit of classic zombification, the main story follows Gertrude, a young woman who cleans along the road and forest only to start uncovering a mystery from the forest past. Only to have her best friend, Jordan, go missing. She slowly unravels the mystery and tries to find out what happened to Jordan and to those in the past.

We have several main, secondary, and tertiary characters as well as a party scene we want. The script is saved into a shared doc if you want to read it over. It will all be local in GR during development. We are planning on filming in spring!!!!!

Hello wonderful people of our city. I've posted a few times and we are so excited to say that we'll be moving into auditions starting next weekend! But we have one more hurdle, SPACE!!

We want to stay local so please share any recommendations. We don't have a budget but are willing to pay for space if it's accessible and reliable. Ideally we need a space for auditions and meet ups, as well potentially a space to build props and store them safely.

We've gotten some really awesome people involved and blown away by the support!! Once we have a space I'll be posting the Audition sign up and info next!!

Welcome to Nature Calls!

Nature Calls Is a monster slasher with an Eco-Horor twist. Without giving the plot away, disrespecting the woods leaves several groups to be attacked by monsters created by the woods themselves. There will be several monsters, and the more actors, the better.

I made a post a few days ago about searching for people to help with a horror project and quite a few of you have reached out! Much love.

This is sort of an update/context of everything we're in need of/searching for.

Note; this is all in very early development and very much in flux timeline wise, my dream is next year filming but it really depends on a lot of factors, obviously.

Casting

Currently we are planning a smaller cast but I would love extras/add more characters if the situation allows. Here is every character that is either not cast or open to additional casting/back up with loose Age Range in mind.

I am working on some script material to use for the purposes of casting auditions but if you're interested at all we can talk over the characters to get some ideas!!

1980's Group

Young Jules (20-30)

Writing

I am currently the primary writer, developing the idea from a simple premise but expanding greatly.

I need a script writer/doctor for the purposes of character conversation and development.

Music Production Team

I have made a bit of music as demos but would love to work with multiple artists to add unique flare and ambience.

Art Direction

I need help story board sketching and will need and want help with costume creation.

Camera

Currently we have very limited recording tools. Very very small budget. But if you're a professional videographer I would love to work together and find someone who really gets our vision.

I can't think of any other major roles but if you think there's something else you could do to be involved we are open to ideas!!!

My friend and I have been working on a horror film but I do my best work when I'm talking with someone and I need other motivated artists who actually want to create!! Please reach out if you're interested. I don't have monetary strength but if this project works out, I do plan on splitting any and all profits with everyone involved.

Also I just need more local friends! My wife and I like to hangout and see movies a lot, we are both 25f.

Considering the quantity of marks on our home and through conversation with neighbors, we are getting more write ups about things our neighbors haven't despite being in similar or worse condition.

I was an employee through the park and the staff is very small. They were very cruel after a year of no issues and I left because of it. They used to pass notices out manually, but ever since they switched to a text system they have given us several notices with very limited timeframe and caused a lot of stress on my part because of my work schedule.

My neighbors homes are also in similar conditions but after speaking with them they have not received the same treatment in regards to write ups. Going so far as to threaten eviction once previously. I'm really stressed out and tired of being the only one on the block that deals with this.

I was being understanding with the first set despite this but I am feeling less comfortable with this treatment as it leans towards harassment to a degree my neighbors do not receive equally.

Is there anything to this? I don't have the money to throw around but it's caused me to miss out on work time because I have to be home dealing with their nonsense when I planned to do it during free time.
