I haven’t had a flare up in over ten years and I just got one in my groin area. It’s healing but they prescribed 3 months of doxycycline and clindamycin. I participate in a sport (Hawaiian outrigger canoeing) that has me on the water at least 5hrs a week. Even though I wear a rash guard, hat, and sunscreen my hands when I got done with practice yesterday felt like they were on fire. I really don’t want to stop paddling since it benefits my physical health and my mental health. Any advice?
