Connections :

• Hybrids who are half humans, half monsters. Their monster half is known for their bloodthirsty nature as they feed on humans, they can also disguise themselves as humans to make hunting easier and are based on creatures from Korean folklore.
  • Kumiho eat human hearts and are based on the creature of the same name.
  • Demons eat human souls and are based on various creatures from Korean folklore.
• Their human heritage is due to one of their female relative from their monster side, who fell in love with a man that helped her uncover her humanity (Ami's grandmother, Rumi's mother).
• Unfortunately, due to their nature as hybrid, their existence had to be hidden and would lose their parents at a young age. Leading them to be adopted by acquaintance of their parents who forced them to hide their monster half (Ami's aunt and uncle, Celine).
• This would lead them to struggle with being able to relate to people or open themselves to others as they felt too different from the rest of the world.
• They decided to use their powers for the greater good by becoming heroes who protect humanity from supernatural threats.
• Throughout their adventures, they will learn to open to others aswell as coming to terms with their mixed heritage and embracing their true selves.

Connections :

• Teenage characters from urban fantasy series who serve as a dark reflection to the protagonist (Percy, Yuru).
• Both became orphans at a young age after losing their parents under strange circumstances which would left an emotional impact on them. During this time, their existence would be hidden to protect them with the intent of a party to use them for their own ends (Hades took Nico to the Lotus Hotel so he wouldn't age with the hope of him becoming the "child of the Eldest Gods" from the Great Prophecy, Asa was raised by the Kagemori family who planned for her to destroy the Higashi village and to ensure that the twins power does not bring chaos to the world)
• They would learn the truth about their unique heritage (Nico is the son of Hades, Yuru is one of the twins of day and night aswell as being destined to obtain Break's power). Said heritage is also the cause of their parents' disappearance (Nico's mother died when Zeus struck the hotel they were staying in with lightning in an attempt to kill him and his sister, Asa's parents died as they were hiding her from people who were after her powers).
• They would also learn that they're involved in a plot to save the world (Nico is a candidate for the Great Prophecy due to being a child of the Big Three which foretold the rise or fall of Olympus, Asa is destined to control all the tsugai and must avoid having her powers stolen by antagonistic forces).
• Yet, their primarily goal is to ensure the well-being of their sibiling which is motivated by their trauma of losing them and fear of being alone (Nico wishes to bring back Bianca from the dead, Asa wants to stay with Yuru after being separated for years). As such, they have developped a desire for vengeance against those who caused harm to their family.
• This goal would be used against them to better manipulate them (Minos promised Nico to bring back Bianca if he serves him, the Kagemori family would help Asa find Yuru as long she works for them).
• Their story revolve around them confronting the fate that was given upon them.
• They're both resilient and determined individuals who have been through a lot of trauma in their life. Despite this, they remain caring and protective towards those they consider family/friends. They have a deep-seated fear of being alone due to their past experiences. They're fiercely loyal and will go to great lengths to seek revenge against those they believe have wronged them and their family. Both are also gifted and powerful individuals with supernatural abilities that they have honed through their own strength and determination. They can be impulsive at times, but are also strategic and calculating when necessary. Their experiences have made them deeply introspective and reflective, and they are constantly seeking to understand themselves and their place in the world.
• Both are able to use summons (Nico can summon the dead, Asa has her tsugai).
