Harvested suspecting rough stemmed bolete but has oxidized strangely so want to be sure. Stem was completely white when first picked and underside was lighter in color. Has been stored in a towel for 24 hrs. On Vancouver Island BC, Canada
Has anyone ever done this? I’m looking to move to a better situation and it’s seeming like a house might not end up being feasible, let alone a house with an appropriate spot to install a cat door.
I’m considering opening my search to apartment buildings with patios and wondering if this will be enough for my cat. She’s a pretty chatty girl and I feel like she gets a lot of enrichment from going outdoors. She gets attention from people walking by, chases bugs, and sunbathes. Will she spend the rest of her life trying to escape if I move her to an apartment? She’s 9 years old and has been outdoor for most of her life.
Looking for advice from people who have done this, not people who objectively think that all cats should be indoors.
