Hey! I'm working on a script for a fun horror short film, if you are in 20s male and an actor, would love to connect with you

this isn't a paid thing
but I'll make sure to keep the quality as best as I can
so it will be helpful for an actor too to flex their craft

here is the plot of that short film-

After an ordinary morning is interrupted by a mysterious package containing a breathing cuddle toy, a man becomes trapped in a cycle of recurring nightmares

I have mostly done non fiction before
a film of mine is on Amazon prime
this is the first time gonna try fiction

*looking for someone from delhi NCR

I built a workspace for creators who don't want AI writing their content for them, would love feedback

Problem 1: Planning and scripting a video is a mess of tabs. Mind maps in one app, script in a doc, research notes somewhere else, thumbnail ideas in mind, music links, etc.

Problem 2: Most AI tools for creators just write the video for you and it comes out generic. It doesn't sound like you, it sounds like "AI trying to sound like a creator"

So I built Serca.io

One workspace, one project per video, mind map, script, research, thumbnail ideas, everything in one place, organised beautifully

The AI in it is built to optimize, not generate from scratch, hooks, retention, titles, feedback on your draft. It's trained on what actually works on Reels/YT, and it learns your style over time.

Basically: it's for creators who want to write the thing themselves and use AI to sharpen it, not replace it.

Still early, genuinely want the roast
is this solving a real problem or am I building a tool for an audience of one (me)?

Serca.io if you want to poke at it.

AI first scripting is the dumbest workflow you could pick

I'm not against AI tools but against the AI first approach

If you let Claude write your first draft, you get the most generic version of your idea possible not because it's bad, but because it's trained to play it safe and certainly not trained to tell it in a way only you would tell

What works better for me, write the messy first draft yourself. Then use AI in for what it's actually good at, tightening for retention, hook/title options, thumbnail ideas, feedback

AI as editor is way better than ghostwriter for your own content, even for branded content too

how do you manage the entire workflow of creating YT videos

I have been trying to find ways to organise my workflow well
but I always end up making it too messy

like script versions, shot lists, thumbnail ideas then thumbnails, editing ideas , etc

Used Notion and Serca.io for organising my pre production work, Working well for me

but for production and post production work I still make it too messy

I guess I'm too noob
