In our area, we have "Farm" level which is below Minors. Farm is 8 to 10 and Minors in 9 to 11. My son played in Farm last year at league age 10 because it was his first time playing baseball. He is a young 10 year old and didn't actually turn 10 until the spring little league season was over.

For fall ball, I decided to keep him in Farm so he could get in a lot of developmental reps. He's quickly become a pretty decent player and has been on the cusp of making a select team at the two try outs he attended. What I didn't realize was for fall ball, Farm actually is 3 innings coach pitch, 1 inning kid pitch. Farm in the spring is 100% kid pitch.

He is now a bit disappointed and feels like he went backwards. I think he can still make the most of it, because he still needs reps to better understand defensive scenarios and baserunning scenarios. That is where he is lacking from having only 1 total season of baseball in his life.

Looking for recommendations on best MLB player to watch for helping my 10 year old son to visually see good mechanics. Someone with a very vanilla setup and mechanically solid swing. He will easily get fixated on things we are not focused on like big leg kicks and things like that, so thats why the ask on the "vanilla" part.

I am considering volunteering to be an assistant coach for my son’s team in the upcoming season. I never played high level baseball as a kid, only Little League, and quit at the age when the switch to the big field was being made. My knowledge of baseball is solid, but still learning more of the technical coaching details of the modern game. For example, when i was a kid, they told us to watch the ball and make contact, they didn’t tell us we were casting the bat and swinging wrong.

Trying to determine if i am qualified to be an assistant coach. I did volunteer as dugout manager this past season and i ran some of the warmup drills before games so did a little coaching.

Just feeling the need to rant. Been on wegovy for more than a year and a half. Today, had the worst pen failure ever, I believe the full dose leaked out or at least 75% of it. I have had leaks before but this was a high volume of liquid. Just really frustrated.
