IYKYK. What a great show from the country club and friends. What a treat! Thank you!!!

Last night she said that she does not need to pack much other than kitchen and toys. She said that they really did not have very much stuff because everything they moved in basement at rental has been ruined by the basement flooding. Guess I missed when that happened?!?

So which major functional task is Steve taking on this weekend?
- septic
- bathroom (s)
- kitchen appliances and sink
- installing lights and plugs

Just curious. Oh is the trash pile still rotting in the yard?

On the live yesterday she stated Steve said to get carpet installed asap. So strange when the rooms are not even close to being finished and nothing done in bathrooms. She said she won’t be protecting carpets, just making everyone take shoes off. Knowing what needs to be done, it’s so strange.

To connect the fresh water line.. that’s what she is saying. Maybe I’m confused.

2nd visit yesterday (Saturday June 14) I first want to say what a beautifully designed space.

1. Tree preservation and landscape are beautiful. Blends in to park very well.

2. Lazy River is handicapped accessible and senior citizen friendly with hand rails to get in and out. Dont miss the shaded bubble pool and tanning ledge on the river.

3. Bathrooms, shower and changing area are well designed.

4. Variety of pools and slides make it fun for any age.

5. Abundance of life guards who are serious about their job.

6. Cabana rentals are prime seating and reasonably priced.

7. Many great seating areas covered and uncovered, lounge chairs and picnic tables.

Now, for the concerns.

1. How many people is maximum capacity. From what I saw yesterday every single chair in use and most lawn spaces were taken. Bumper to bumper in lazy river. Life jackets had run out and yet there was still long line to get in. Nobody counting how many were leaving. How would they know if at capacity?
2. Bathrooms were messy.
3. More trash cans are needed.
4. We spilled food and could not find anyone to assist w clean up. Someone(s) should be patrolling for clean up at all times. Sweepers.
5. Seems to be ample employees just poorly managed and/or poorly trained.
6. Offerings at snack bar are priced below attraction/entertainment food prices but taste is not great and again, poorly managed staff. Need better system. Suggestion: vending machine for quick grab drinks, snacks, ice cream would help w the very long lines. Before the remodel surf and swim had great snack selections.

Of course this is new facility and business model for our city, and they are working out kinks, however I’m concerned as the chaos seems to be growing since our first visit.

Hello! Backstory. My son and then girlfriend moved back home with 4 month old grandson 3 years ago. (They lived here since Aug 2021 except for 6 months) We were over the moon. Eventually the girlfriend became his wife March 2025.

In July 2025 my DIL moved out suddenly. Just before wedding she found text messages he sent two years prior to that in his old phone she was using because hers was getting fixed. She had try to get over it and could not. No judgment.. I was devastated for all three of them. I was disappointed w son for having done that, deeply. Super sad situation.

They immediately began 50/50 w their son and I was caregiver to my grandson on 2/3 rotations (my sons days) while he was at work. The other days of week his mom in worked at daycare and he went w her on her days. Their relationship is not my problem to solve or have feelings about. I hope for the best for all of them. I felt I had good relationship w son and now daughter in law. I love the other grandma and we get along well. Fast forward, DIL (they r still separated) takes a new better job and I am asked to keep my grandson m-f. I very happily agree. He has just turned 3 and we are having a lot of fun together.

My son and DIL started counseling and repairing marriage. Woo hoo so happy about this. They are dating and he staying her apartment often. They have dinner here once a week. I watch grandson when they want date night or have counseling (in addition to 8-6 weekdays) .

Yesterday they came over to tell me I would only be needed to watch him 2 days a week. They want him to go back to daycare. The daycare is hour round trip and costs 150 for 3 days a week. The just turned three grandson is reading, counts to 100 or more, all colors, shapes, the order of the solar system and can spell the planets. The only things he can do is write.

My stupid is heart is broken because I feel like I got fired and I don’t understand why. I full respect they are the parents. Trying to reconcile that this is not rejection?!? Help.

Looking for anyone who has been yazoo low 2 which is not a low but a medium.

It’s interesting since Fe started battling and raising money for Chouse.. she has gotten brand deal from Temu for decorative junk, an electric cooler and portable battery.. now these glasses. I thought w that free stuff you need to make videos? When is she going to do that part?
