Anyone who set up a food/beverages stall at the Regatta care to share their earnings and expenses? Looking to set one up myself next year and want to see if it is worth the investment.

Yesterday was my first Regatta, and I was in awe seeing how many food stalls were around, charging handsomely for foods and beverages. I was thinking of setting one up myself next year but wanted to see how people did earning-wise to see if it is even worth it. For me, it is more about the experience over the money; however, I don’t want to invest in setting things up more than I earn back because that would be a total loss lol.

Question regarding on what to enter under "Select a location where you will be applying for this visa" in the DS160 portal, if my city of residence is not listed.

I live in Newfoundland Canada, on a previous DS160 form, I chose Halifax as the "location selected" however my interview is in Toronto.

Should I update my "location selected" to Toronto with a new DS-160 form?

Also, I will need to chose premium delivery to have it delivered to my residence in Newfoundland right?

Blank last name on Indian passport + wrong name on submitted DS-160 — what do I do before my appointment?

My Indian passport doesn't have a last name on it — my full name is only in the "Given Name" field, "Surname" is blank. I already submitted my DS-160 and filled the name fields incorrectly.

A few questions:

  1. Has anyone else dealt with a blank surname on an Indian passport for their DS-160? What did you put, and did it cause any issues at your interview?
  2. Since I already submitted the form with the wrong name, can I go back and correct it before my interview?

Also — I lost my DS-160 confirmation/application number. Any tips on getting it back besides checking email? Would appreciate hearing from anyone who's been through this, especially at a consulate in India.
