AITA for telling my girlfriend I’m not okay with her having a celebrity hall pass?
ok so context first. me and my girlfriend have been dating for 4 months, been seeing each other for like 6. it’s her first relationship and we’re both pretty young.
She mentioned she watches Love island with her friends. i asked her if she sees the guys on there sexually? and she said no, but that obviously she found them attractive. fine whatever. but then we got into a whole discussion about it and she started arguing that it’s completely normal to have a celebrity crush, and then went further and said it’s normal to have a hall pass, a celebrity you’d be allowed to sleep with.
and honestly i found that disgusting. the idea that my girlfriend fantasizes about another guy, and that if she ever actually met him and had the chance, she’d basically cheat on me. i was pretty shook and told her i’m not okay with it. she got angry and said i was overreacting and it’s not that serious. is this a red flag or AITA?
