I'm new... Will I be ok watching the movie without any context?

Hi folks,

I'm British and to be honest have very little background knowledge around the movie or the creators/what's come before.

I was browsing films to watch at my local cinema and this one came up. My friend is a Nirvana fan so I initially thought this was some sort of documentary (that may be quite funny to you lol). However, seeing the trailer and reading a bit about it, I quickly realised it's not.

Now I have found out this film comes with a very dedicated fan base, and being part of similar bases, I know how important films like this are.

However, am I safe going into this film with literally no context other than the trailer? Or am I going to need a bit of background knowledge into what has come before?

Also, are there any other films/TV shows that are comparable to this? Just so I have an idea?

TIA!

Headphones free repair out of warranty from Apple?

Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice on where I stand legally and what my chances are of getting this resolved without paying.

I bought a pair of Beats Solo 4 headphones from Argos in December 2024.

In August 2025, they developed a fault where audio would only play through the left ear. Apple diagnosed the fault and replaced the headphones with a brand-new pair, with the original one year warranty remaining (I think).

The replacement pair has now developed the exact same fault (audio only through the left ear) less than a year later. I've tested them with multiple phones via Bluetooth and the issue remains, so it appears to be a hardware fault. Similar stories have popped up online with these particular headphones.

I've booked a Genius Bar appointment with Apple next week, but I'm concerned they may simply say the headphones are out of warranty and charge me for a repair or replacement.

My questions are:

Given that this is a replacement unit that has failed with the exact same fault in under a year, what are my chances of Apple offering a goodwill repair or replacement?

If Apple refuses, should I be pursuing Argos instead under the Consumer Rights Act 2015?

Does the fact that two separate pairs have failed with the same fault strengthen any claim that the product has not been reasonably durable?

If Argos rejects the claim, would I likely need an independent report, or would Apple's previous replacement and diagnosis be useful evidence?

The headphones are in good condition with no accidental damage.

I'm in England.

Thanks in advance.
