Former 1A here. How y'all holding up these days?

2014-2021, Was a 1A for the final three years. Worked my fair share at high volume/urban stores, but it didn't take me long to realize that going SM was not for me and no longer saw a future with QT for myself. Didn't want to feel trapped there. Quit midshift on a Friday and never looked back. Certainly not a mature or prudent way to go out, but I have no regrets. Went back to school and now I'm on my way to becoming an MRI technologist.

Haven't been on the subreddit in some years, and don't really speak to anyone with the company anymore. How's life at QT going for y'all these days? Do y'all like the Skynet floor scrubbers? They still doing discretionary bonuses? How's the 401k? New security any good? Do partials even exist anymore with that Flex shit?

Finally got around to listening to Ultra 85 for the first time.

Been a longtime fan for years and always have the Young Sinatra mixtapes, UP, TITS, and NP on rotation in the gym. Probably not a week goes by I don't listen to WTF at some point. Hadn't listened to anything new of Logic's after BTIII, which I wasn't a huge fan of, but personally just fell off listening to a lot of new music and stuck with stuff of repeat. You know how it goes.

Finally decided that I would check out his newer discography at the gym today. Haven't followed Bobby in a while, so I figured I'd start with College Park and then Vinyl Days. Lo and behold, there's Ultra 85. "Damn, didn't even know this shit was out." Throw it on, immediately see an 8 minute track and not sure what to expect, only to be hit with a phenomenal intro and fucking banger of an album. Listened to the entire thing in one go, and damn, I loved it. I have yet to relisten to it, so I don't have any further thoughts at the moment, but I'm excited to do so again. Feels like Logic at his peak.

Figured I would poke around the sub to see what Bobby's been up to the past few years since I hadn't been keeping up. Sucks to see the stories/comments I've read along with the prevailing opinions of him now. Juxtaposed with how I felt listening to Ultra 85, it's bittersweet. Whatever. Still gonna bump that shit lol. I'll get around to Vinyl Days and College Park eventually.
