Brake bleeding

Recently did front and rear brakes and fluid flush on our 2011 128. Pads rotors up front and just pads in the rear. Have tried bleeding 3 times now and still do not have a firm pedal feel. First go was quick 2-4 iterations with a helper in the car on each caliper and not really in sequential order. Did again using 1 person method in sequence and a third time using helper again. Helper on 3rd iteration was my 14-year old daughter so possible she lifted. A little frustrated. Was reading that maybe some air in abs. I did not let the master cylinder run dry so should not have been an issue.

Do I need software to cycle the ABS while bleeding? It looks like I can do this with Bimmerlink. I tried downloading and getting INPA working on old laptop but having connectivity issues.

Question on brake bleeding - 2011 128

Recently did front and rear brakes on our 2011 128. Helper on 3rd iteration was my 14-year old daughter so possible she lifted, but don’t think so. A little frustrated. Was reading that maybe some air in abs. I did not let the master cylinder run dry so should not have been an issue. Do I need to purchase software to cycle the ABS while bleeding ?

Any advice appreciated!!!
