terribly paranoid about cancer please help.

i went to the doctor finally for a swollen lymph node that is behind my ear/in my jaw area that has off and on swollen for a few years now and i attributed it to dental stuff because i have alot of cavities that i am getting worked on. my doctor told me she wanted to get a scan and they said they also found a small nodule on my thyroid. in terms of bloodwork my tpo is very high but tsh and t4 are normal. wbc&platlets are normal. does this sound like it can be cancerous? my mri isn’t for another two weeks. thanks

Is this normal procedure for a root canal?

so i just had a root canal on a bottom tooth (five teeth to the left of the middle if that matters) and i went back to get the permanent crown placed and when they did this i said it seemed a little high thinking they would grind down the crown a little bit, but what the dentist did was grind down my top tooth that was connecting with the crown which wasn’t numbed not had any work on so it was just a regular active tooth. the pain was like almost unbearable!!! it was rattling and irritating my nerve and now almost a week or so later and i am still getting a bit of a shock or sensitivity when i bite down on that top tooth, is this normal where they grind down the opposite tooth instead of the one with the crown or the work done on it? i just want to know if i should question this or if its normal and the discomfort goes away. thanks!!!

is there a limit to how much your apartment can inconvenience you? (OHIO,USA)

ok i know it’s a landlords world and we are just living in it and all that, but like how much can a landlord actually inconvinence you before you can like, say something?

backstory: my apartment already does like the normal come bang on your door stuff aka bug spraying and changing filters and whatnot. this year all of a sudden they did random inspections for “structural and matinence issues” aka they wanted an excuse to look for lease breaches and that was about 2 weeks ago.

NOW: our pool was closed all of last year for seemingly no reason, they opened it this year for two weeks and now has been closed ever since which is like a massive annoyance considering we pay nearly $2k a month, and they just told us we have to bring in ALL of our patio furniture, plants, basically everything on balcony’s so they can “power” wash which may take up to 5 days and then DIRECTLY after that they said they need to paint so all the stuff has to stay inside? that will be nearly two and a half weeks total of that stuff having to stay in our house. half of my living room and dining room is now piled up with dirty patio furniture and plants are covering up my kitchen table…. it isn’t like we have some huge apartment and we have a one year old who wants to crawl and play but we have literally zero room to put anything ? like is there a point where enough is enough?

inspection, what are my rights? (OHIO, USA)

UPDATE i watched inspection on my home cameras and from what i could see they stepped on balcony glanced around in rooms and bathrooms and opened all closet doors. it was not a contractor or third party but just the leasing office personnel, not even matinence, so wondering what they would know about structural damage. 🤔

ok i got attacked on here yesterday so i am going to rephrase;

my apartment left a notice on every door of about a 120 unit apartment saying they are doing inspections, i thought it was a little weird because i have lived here for over 8 years and they have never done a routine inspection before only to check smoke detectors and change hvac filter and they promptly do that and then leave. this inspection notice stated that they are doing checks for structural safety and will be checking all drawers, cabinets and closets.

if inspections of this nature were normal here i wouldn’t bat an eye but almost a decade and we have never had one and i am raising the questions… why now? and is going through cabinets and drawers really something that is necessary for a structural check?

the leasing company and management has not changed so it isn’t like it’s a new policy i just feel like it’s bordering on an invasion of privacy.

landlord doing “inspection for safety” - (Ohio,USA)

my landlord / leasing company sent something out saying they are doing an inspection for “potential safety hazards and balcony and structure checks” but we are pretty convinced they are trying to snoop around, biggest red flag being that they said they are going to enter all closets, cabinets etc. we had a cat and temporarily rehomed her until the coast is clear. anyone else experience this before?

is there any correlation between metformin helping anxiety?

i started metformin last night and i swear it feels like my anxiety is gone today? is this just a coincidence or does anyone else have the same experience?

does anyone have good advice on how to remove car urine from carpet/padding. backstory: we live in an apartment and didn’t say we had a cat (literally already $2k rent and not giving another $75 a month plus $300 deposit you’d do it too) anyways my cat is elderly and commonly goes outside the box on the carpet and sometimes we miss it or can’t get to it right away so it seeps in and the smell is getting bad. any advice on how to totally eradicate this? thanks!
