Incision Irritated at 3 Weeks PP

3 weeks post c-section and my incision is getting purple-like bruises around it. Just appeared yesterday.

Has anyone experienced similar?

I’m worried about possible infection because I started using silicone sheets (approved by my OB at two week follow up) to prevent a second keloid.

Have contacted my OB—waiting to hear back.

Any Luck with Silicone Sheets?

Just had my second c-section!

My first resulted in an awful keloid scar. This time around, my OB cut out the scar.

I know keloids are often due to genetics, but hoping to TRY to avoid another. Has anyone had luck with silicone sheets? If so, please give me all the details! Which you used, when you started, how often you wore them, etc. TIA! ♥️

Engorgement Tips?

Three days postpartum with my second and milk came in strong due to still nursing my 18 month old.

I am trying to avoid an oversupply but also worried about mastitis/clogged ducts. My breasts are heavy and hard-as-rock even after Baby nurses. I tried a manual pump but it was pretty painful to even get two ounces.

Any tips? If I leave breasts this engorged will supply even out without issue? TIA.

Keloid Scar After C-Section

About 18 months postpartum after an emergency cesarean. I ended up with an awful keloid scar that I’m very self conscious of (can see through leggings, swimwear, etc.).

I am having a second cesarean in about a month.

Wondering if there’s anything preventative I can do OR if this does happen again, what treatment options I have afterwards if any. Thanks in advance.

I apologize if this post is all over the place!

I am currently 25 weeks pregnant and still breastfeeding my 15 month old 3ish times/day.

I have noticed that my milk has changed to colostrum (no more white milk, just clear).

- I’m curious, doesn’t pumping early potentially induce labor? If so, how is that different from breastfeeding?

- Secondly, since colostrum is in, when can I start collecting it for early-August due date? Is it too soon?
