Interesting paper options / TRP alternatives for 2027?

Hi everyone, I may have an unpopular opinion in that I enjoyed the fact that so many planner companies were experimenting with alternatives to Tomoe River paper last year when it was clear that there were widespread manufacturing issues with that particular paper. I absolutely loved the Cosmo Air 83gsm paper in Sterling Ink’s 2026 Core planner, for example. But I’m doubtful they will bring that back, as I understand there was/is (?) a shortage of that paper.

I am wondering if there are other companies offering higher gsm paper options alongside or instead of their TRP options. At this point, I am considering a Hemlock & Oak cloth flex planner but as someone living in the U.S., the import from Canada is going to cost me. I will be traveling to the UK in September (peak planner season!) and am open to options that may be more readily available in the UK and Europe.

TLDR: I have no particular problem with Tomoe River Paper in my planners and often enjoy it, but I am curious as to what else is out there. Especially for minimal, vertical weekly layout planners. (No Happy Planner, Erin Condrin, or similarly styled suggestions, and no Amazon/Temu/AliEx, items please).

Queer/Trans welcoming choir?

Hi everyone. After participating in a few one-off workshops, I’ve discovered group singing to be really enjoyable and beneficial to my wellbeing. I am hoping to make this activity a consistent part of my life and would love to join a choir.

I am not currently religious in a practicing way or affiliated with any kind of congregation, and I’m not a student.

I was wondering if there were any secular choirs open to beginners, especially those that might be welcoming to queer and trans folks. Thanks!

Hello! I am a frequent lurker across Ebay, as I keep an eye out for certain vintage Filofax models I’m after. I have noticed that UK sellers seem to price things more moderately than US sellers, which I assume is due to the fact that the products are generally more available in their region and less precious.

This month, am traveling to the UK for an extended work trip (about 3 weeks) and I was wondering about the possibility of buying a vintage Filofax or two while I am there.

If you are in the UK, what is your experience looking for Filofax at charity shops, car boot sales, estate sales etc?

I’ll be in London (with a posible weekend in Hastings) and Glasgow. Are these cities just too expensive as places for thrifting to be much of a bargain anymore?
