Should I get worried that I haven’t received my live scan appointment yet? It’s been about 2 weeks since my offer letter

Hi! I received my conditional offer on Monday and was wondering when I’ll get my appointment for the fingerprint. I really want this job 🥺

I feel like my life is shit rn. I was an IRS agent but got laid off bc of because of the new administration. Then I landed a job in a private company as an accountant the company went to shit and I lost my job there too. Now I’m feeling so defeated. I really want to go back to the IRS or even get into the county but I’m not getting any interviews. I’ve been applying to everything. Please advise I feel so defeated

I was hired as an auditor last year as GS 12 but was laid off due to the RIF. I went to a private company as an accountant but now I want to get into government/county jobs. Is the government still hiring?
