Advice on pads
Tracking an 11th gen Civic Si. I’m probably upper-novice/lower-intermediate in terms of run grouping. Tracks I run are the Summit Point circuits and VIR.
I have Castrol SRF fluid, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, and Hawk HP+ pads all around. I’m sick of it sounding like a garbage truck wherever I go when I’m not at the track.
I know the answer is to DIY, but with 2 young kids and ability to do like 3, maybe 4 track days a year, I don’t have a lot of time to swap. I guess I could do it at the track.
Anyway, I did some research and it seems that Bluestuff NDX on the front and OEM pads on the rear could give me decent grip and also not constantly squeal on the street. Thoughts? I swear I’m going to learn to do it on my own. I think I’ve caught the bug and want to do more track days.
