Hi guys so my sister and I both are first gen pre meds, she switched from pre -opt to pre med and she’s absolutely afraid of getting on Reddit bc of the toxic culture, her and I are both taking gap years but her “app” isn’t where she wants it to be, below I will include her stats ECs, she wants to aim for MD but her gpa is on the lower end due to extenuating circumstances. She wants insight on if she needs a post bacc/ smp to aim for MDs (she’s open to DO)

Hi everyone,

I was searching masters programs with the intention of completing them to better my application and came across the NYITCOM one, I wanted to ask (since I can’t find anything on it) if it seems worth applying to and how is NYITCOM as a school in general ? I’m graduating from SUNY SBU this upcoming sem.
