When I started reading here sa mga subs, I realized na iba na talaga yung mga bata ngayon, I mean yung 30s people and even yung 40s titos and titas here have so much goals in life. Tapos naisip ko na wow, bakit di ako ganun 😂
Ang goal ko lang ngayon mag-save as much as I can eh. No big plans, no travel plans or hobbies. Yung mindset ko parang yung sa parents ko na wala lang, go where life takes me.

I was 8 when Edsa 1 happened, so yung recollection ko of events was confined lang sa wala kaming pasok buong week of that fateful February, kids chanting Marcos/Tolentino and Cory/Doy, and my dad leaving us for a while para makiusyoso sa Edsa, settling sa rooftop ng Polymedic but reminding my mom na kapag nagkagulo eh umuwi muna kami sa lola ko.
Twenty-two ako during Edsa 2 and I was with my officemates doon sa People Power Shrine, nakiki-rally.

The last time we had a Mother's Day celebration was during the pandemic. We just had food delivered. Actually we (my niece and I) couldn't be with my mom physically because of the quarantine, so we just video-called her, and I think she had food sent over na lang to us, if I remember correctly.
Whenever I think of my mother, a memory that stands out always was the one where she waited for me outside of a supermarket. As I walked towards her, she was staring blankly into space, deep in thought, which I knew would be a mental note of the things we needed to buy during that grocery run.
