Do you think Psylocke should have higher quick melee damage?

Since a lot of people on this sub (myself included) have been mentioning QoL changes or buffs like 3 second invisibility or tighter primary fire spread, I have been thinking about what if they just buffed her quick melee attack?

Instead of two quick slashes why not change it to 1 slash that does ~45 to 50 damage similar to Magneto's quick melee? And maybe with a bit of tweaking give her Loki's increased backstab damage with slightly increased melee range given that she uses her katana.

I think this would encourage people to flank more as well as complimenting her shotgun like spread for both her primary fire and shurikens.

In practice however I do think she would still play similarly to how she plays now just with slightly more damage. Thoughts?

Opinion on Cyclops matchup

Cyclops Hard Counters Psylocke
After alternating between Cyclops and Psylocke for a few games over the past week, I think it’s fair to say that Cyclops hard counters Psylocke.

Cyclops can sit near his backline or hold a common off-angle and essentially function like a security camera, making him constantly aware of anyone trying to flank or take an off-angle. On top of that, his primary fire damage and critical hit multiplier make him comparable to—if not better than—prime Hela in terms of raw damage output.

As for mobility, his main escape tool is his SHIFT, which lets him quickly create distance and force fights at a range that Psylocke struggles to contest. His F ability, where he launches into the air, is less effective as an escape since it’s mostly vertical and leaves him much more vulnerable while airborne.

How to Counter Him as Psylocke

1. Ban him or pick him yourself.
This is the easiest solution. I personally pick him because he's quite fun to play.
2. Don’t fight him head-on.
Cyclops thrives in direct duels and has the damage to punish any mistakes.
3. Use his hitbox to your advantage.
His hitbox is roughly comparable to a slightly leaner Moon Knight, so landing damage isn’t the issue—getting into a favorable position is.
4. Attack from angles he can’t immediately cover.
He’s not impossible to fight, but he makes off-angling significantly more difficult. Your best bet is to poke from behind him or from elevated positions where he doesn’t have direct vision.
5. Save your invisibility for disengaging.
Rather than using it to engage, keep it available as an escape tool. This makes it much harder for Cyclops to track you and land his E when you’re trying to get out.
He’s definitely beatable, but compared to most other matchups, he forces Psylocke to work a lot harder for value.

Does Rosaria work as temporary support for melt?

I have Rosaria built and I'm currently waiting for Citlali 's rerun so I'd figure to place Rosaria in an Arlecchino melt team temporarily. Is there any team (not so premium) that includes Arlecchino and Rosaria?

Do Nod Krai characters work with Navia?

I've just recently come back to this game and am still learning about the Lunar reactions and their characters. I'd like pulling for some of them but I am not sure since people say you need at least 2 for them to properly work (like Nicole and Durin apparently) or they need a Nod Krai on field DPS which makes me have some doubts because I don't know which sources to trust.

Currently I am looking forward to pull for Columbina but I'm still unsure if she would fit well with Navia and I've been thinking of pairing Navia up with other older supports I haven't pulled for to like Xilonen, Furina, etc.

So I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could help dumb it down for me.

Psylocke's damage changes and ability changes from S0 - 7.5

Decided to make this for fun.

Season 0 – 2

BnB Combo (M1 → M2 → M2 → M1):
302 damage — absolutely dominant at the time, since most squishy heroes sat at ~250 HP.

Dash Combo (M1 → M2 → Dash):
256 damage — effectively an instant kill on most low-mobility 250 HP heroes (e.g. Moon Knight pre–Season 3).

Side note: In Season 0, her ultimate did not target structures, enemy shields, or bubbles. Whoever was caught in the ult was guaranteed to be targeted. This was changed in Season 1.

Season 2.5 – 3.5

Shuriken return damage reduced from 14 → 12

BnB Combo:
292 damage — still consistent into 250–275 HP targets.

Dash Combo:
246 damage — no longer secured kills on most 250–275 HP heroes, making it effectively obsolete (only reliably killed Banner).

Side note: Her invisibility duration was reduced from 3 seconds → 2 seconds.

Season 4 – 6.5

Shuriken return damage reduced from 12 → 8

BnB Combo:
272 damage — only consistently effective into 250 HP heroes. By this point, most of the roster had moved to 275 HP or gained shields, making this combo inconsistent and pushing her into a more ult-dependent role (AKA her ult merchant era).

Dash Combo:
226 damage — fully obsolete as a kill combo.

Side note (4.5): Her ultimate was buffed, increasing movement speed by 15% when ulting and damage per slash from 150 → 170.
Side note (5.5): Ultimate cost increased from 2800 → 3400.
Side note (6.5): Primary falloff was adjusted at 30m from 60% → 70%, but her ultimate damage was reduced from 170 → 160.

Season 7 – 7.5

Shuriken throw and return damage buffed from 8 → 9

BnB Combo:
282 damage — regains consistency into 250–275 HP squishy heroes.

Dash Combo:
236 damage — still obsolete as a kill route.

Side note: Each primary hit now reduces cooldowns by 0.3s instead of 0.25s and her ultimate also builds slower now from the global ult charge nerf.

So until her next buffs/nerfs, Psylocke is in a good state sitting around middle A tier but if I had to buff her I'd probably reduce her primary spread from 0.2 to 0.15

How does his ultimate work compared to Rocket's?

Does anyone know the math behind it? For reference, Rocket's ultimate provides a 40% damage boost while Gambit provides 25% enhanced damage. The different wording makes me think they're not applied the same way so can someone explain?

I've been trying to learn this character and I've been struggling with where to shoot the swing as I end up close to the ground ending the swing early or I overshoot and fly past the intended location. Can I get tips as to when to let go of the swing early or how to reach an intended speed? Any youtube video showing how it works is also greatly appreciated.

That's it. Nothing else. I will never forgive Zhiyong for quietly nerfing the damage her kit does to destructible. You either sit there and let someone break the wall to flank for you or you don't take that route at all.
