Stacking with a thicker engagement ring help!

Stacking with a thicker engagement ring help!

My partner and I are designing a ring right now and I want to go with a thicker band for the engagement ring. The picture is of a ring I like from the jeweler we’re working with that has a 3mm band and an elongated cushion. I’m planning to do a gold 3mm flat band also with a low set elongated cushion.

I’ve see people who have thick band engagement rings but not yet stacked and I’ve seen people with thicker wedding bands in their stacks. I’ve looked for inspo but haven’t seen many people’s full stacks with thicker engagement bands and a wedding band together.

What wedding band style would look good? If you have a thicker band engagement ring stack, please share!!

Is this stone too big??

Pick one!

I’ve purchased two loose stones a 2.11 (top/slide 4) and a 3.07 (bottom/slide 3). both elongated cushions — the 2.11 is a 1.25 ratio while the 3.07 is a 1.3 ratio. please share your thoughts!

Good diamond for this setting?

My partner and I just bought this loose lab diamond and I it and am curious on everyone’s thoughts on how it would look in this setting -- please share your thoughts and advice!!

For context, I am between like an 8.5 and a 9 finger and the stone is a 2.11 brilliant cut elongated cushion with a 1.25 ratio. The first picture is the diamond we bought and the second picture a is my favorite inspo pic for the setting (i.e. slightly thicker flat band with milgrain). I want a ring that's simple, a bit unique, and perfect for everyday wear
