I have been chatting to this amazing guy for a year now, he lives in my city but he has the worst luck possible. Any time we agree to meet, something terrible happens to him or someone he loves. He also doesn't like to talk on the phone but I don't mind it because texting is fine by me. My friends are telling me that he is not real but how can he not? He says all the right things, he looks gorgeous, he likes reading. This is the only photo I have of him, he is not in social media because he says he is a very private person. Most if not all electronic nowadays can handle being submerged underwater for dust cleaning even when still connected to the power socket. It's the best method to do because it's free, doesn't need additional tool and cleans uo dust fast.
I see this all the time, and especially in matches like yesterday's France - Morocco. So many people saying "two African teams" and stuff like that. If anything, they were two European teams since most of the Morocco players are born and raised in Europe.
I just think it's very reductive and ultimately racist to keep saying that Lamine Yamal or Kylian Mbappé are "really African". They are not, they have parents from Africa yes, but they are born and raised in Europe and also importantly those are the countries they chose to represent. Saying that a player is not really French or Spanish because they are black is racism, plain and simple. I can't believe it is so accepted.
I just came back from a week in Santorini and the island blew me away.
I wanted to start by addressing all the social media/youtube videos that keep telling people Santorini is disgustingly crowded and impossible to enjoy because of the insane crowds everywhere. This couldn't by farthest from the truth. I never had trouble walking down the streets, finding a spot to eat or drink, taking pictures where I found beautiful, nothing. The only moment I felt like it was crazy was in like 2/3 streets in Oia but that is all. I stayed in Firostefani and walked almost every day to the Fira's bus station in order to get around the island by bus (which worked greatly). It's not like I actively seek avoiding people, I went to popular places in Fira, the museums, Akrotiri, two of the most popular beaches (Perivolos and Perissa), Ammoudi Bay, did a caldera catamaran trip, I saw the sunset from a cocktail bar terrace in Fira without even a reservation, went to the open air cinema etc. I have been is so many other destinations that were so much more crowded than anywhere in Santorini. Whenever I sent pictures during the trip to my mother, she kept saying "there aren't many people around you" because she also has been bombarded with all those social media videos.
Anyhow, with that out of the way, what an absolutely gorgeous island! The geology is simply stunning, the towns are really pretty, the sea is clear and fresh and beautiful, the history and archaeology is amazing (those frescos stole my heart!), people are so friendly, food is so good!

I am in Germany and this is the first time I see Spectrum and Mayco glazes in a shop near me. I bought Spectrum's Bougainvillea and Tiger's Eye floating glazes and Mayco's Cenote.

My initial instinct was to go to Nea Kameni to see the volcano up close but I have read in the news that this might not be a good idea at the moment. What other areas would you recommend? Soy española pero vivo en Alemania y quiero ir con mi pareja (alemán) al norte en un par de meses. Siendo yo de Murcia, el norte no lo controlo mucho pero he estado en Asturias, Cantabria y Euskadi aunque hace muchísimos años. Él no ha estado en ningún sitio del norte.
Mi pregunta es, para dónde tiro? Galicia? Asturias/Cantabria? Euskadi? La idea es alquilar un coche cuando lleguemos pero no me apetece pegarme un tute con el coche todos los días.
