For years, I had been looking for a celery relish recipe my grandmother (grandma Ruth's daughter-in-law) used to make to go with pork roast but nothing seemed exactly right. I may have found it in the newspaper archive where I discovered Great-grandma Ruth's prize winning recipes from 1910.
I was 13 when my great-grandma Ruth died at age 97 and had never seen her cook.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered on newspaper archive a bunch of her prize winning recipes published in the 1910s.
I'm new to gel plate printing but enjoying it so much! Laser print image transfers have been hit or miss but just in time for Memorial Day, I was able to make a print of my dad and my son's kitty by laser printing on a heavier copy paper HP Premium 32 and lightly spraying the printed image with archival picture gloss. I hope my luck continues😊
