Top End Parts Selection SBC

I’ve gone over this parts list more times that I’d like to admit, but I want to make sure this will perform well together. Got a 1980 k10 with a 350, doing a 383 stroker build. Plan to use it for cruising/occasional towing. Not shooting for crazy high horsepower, just good torque through the rev range.

Anyways, I’m currently planning to purchase AFR 195 Enforcer heads, rpm air gap intake manifold, and comp cams’ XR276HR-10, and a 750 cfm carb. Does this combo sound good or have I picked parts that don’t make sense together? Also was considering eliminator heads but seeing as this motor won’t spin past 6k I don’t know if the upgrade is necessary. Target compression ratio is 9.5 btw

Appreciate all responses, just need to get my head on straight

Question About Getting Ready for Machine Shop

As the title suggests, I’m about to send this block to a machine shop to be prepped for a 383 stroker build. Block is 4 bolt main 350 sbc, has previously been bored .030 over and will likely need a sleeve in 1-2 cylinders due to rust. I’m aware I could probably get a 350 block for cheaper but my dad built this engine years ago and I’m stupidly sentimental about everything related to this truck.

My question is, since I’m replacing pretty much everything but the block, what all do I need to have when it gets sent off? I was planning to bring the rotating assembly, both for measurements and balancing. Should I have the heads & cam with me as well? Plan is to retrofit a hydraulic roller cam and I don’t know if that introduces tolerance issues they would need to know about.

Apologies if this is a dumb question, first time building an engine and I’m just trying to make sure it fires up.

Additionally if anyone is interested in the parts I’m planning on and is willing to let me know if I’ve chosen a bad combo, let me know and I can drop part numbers.
