No tasers or weapons were used which does make you wonder the amount of force used. As someone who lives nearby, absolutely not enough is being done to look after the mob that live between parklands and whitmore square , lot of people who need help being ignored. Could almost say it was inevitable.
I have been recommended by my doctor to go on a gut rest and try sticking to bone broth only a couple days a week. So I thought I'd ask people who go on it for diet/fun reasons what the best bone broth flavour/type is. There was a post 5 years ago but not sure if anything's gotten shittier since then.
Sometimes I just want to curl up with my switch in bed and play a game with a gay romance that makes me sob a little. I don't care what genre what style as long as there's lesbians bisexuals and gay men having a good time I want to play it. I have tried otaku games but they all seem very hetero and don't hit the same, so if there's a lesbian love story I'm missing let me know. I've played a lot of the big names as well so if you have deep cuts from indie devs please promote them!
Hello!! I need as many recs as possible for 2nd puberty skin. My face is an oil slick but also in desperate need of a regular exfoliator and moisturiser. Irritated folicles and acne all over my body in places i've never had it before, basically if anyone can help me not be a spotty teenager in my late 20s i'd appreciate it
So I've always been an xbox and nintendo girlie and then whatever terrible computer I can find that runs sims. I've recently become willing to accept that games I want to curl up and play on the switch aren't coming to the console anytime soon. So I've been looking into a handheld pc or a gaming laptop, however I have the xbox s and I love it for the big triple AAA games, I don't need a laptop that can run those games. I would mostly be looking at games that are pc exclusive like the sims or games like quarantine zone or car mechanic sim. Does that make sense? So when I'm looking at gaming laptops $2,000 and up just to play games like easy delivery co it seems crazy. And then a handheld pc might be less expensive and honestly hits a lot of pros but seems like a nightmare to play the sims on so I feel like I'd need to get a laptop anyway.
Does anyone have advice for mid spec device that's portable?
Major spoilers ahead
I'm a trans man and I just finished the wasp factory and I think it's very safe to assume my interpretation is very different to cis people's. I'm assuming based on the final monologue that the purpose of Frank being born female but robbed of his womanhood was to rob him of his "life purpose" and drove him to an obsession of death. But to me it read like an abusive father creating a violent expression of masculinity as its preferable to having a daughter, as the women in his life did nothing but wrong him? And by extension the book then becomes a story of how aggressive masculinity is nurtured? I don't know, the book gives you about a chapter to give you its opinion on the twist and I still don't really understand how Eric and Frank ended up the way they did. Eric seemed criminally underused, I think the implication was he was a religious man who wished to help others but seeing a baby one of gods most innocent creatures eaten from the inside fucked him up. I didn't really understand the logic of his madness after that though.
I just wanted to talk about it since I just finished it and see what everyone's thoughts were particularly since my world view around gender is very different lol
Look I know Dangerfield has been not the greatest lately with their use of ai but at least the plus sizes were in store you could try them on and my size always fit me. Visted my states "outlet" store apparently they've taken their entire curve range off the shop floor and it's exclusively online only which hey if you're plus sized or even worse inbetween sizes you know the nightmare that is. There's one outer suburb shop that still stocks it in my state but they are usually only new releases so not only to plus sizes have to make the trek out there they have to pay full price for the privilege. I'm starting to think as a plus size baddie I'm doomed to wear men's big sized clothing or head to savers with a prayer.
My fave thing about the genre is when it becomes so nasty and silly it just becomes Pink Flamingos on steroids. I just finished Cows and was surprised at how much of it was very darkly funny. Does anyone have recs for books that fit the genre but also made them laugh?
