how does PSA actually authenticate custom card sketches?
genuine question for the community—how does psa actually authenticate a custom sketch?
verifying a signature is one thing, but how do they verify that an entire full-art sketch was actually done by the original artist and not someone else post-release?
if a random person drew on the card, psa would normally consider it alteration or damage. so if they can’t 100% prove the artist drew the sketch, why isn’t it treated as card alteration? super curious how their dna/auto authentication handles artist sketches.
