Sleeved Blister Pull

Sleeved Blister Pull

Stopped by my lgs today to see what sort of sleeved blisters they had in stock. Left with 3 Gundam, 3 Attack of the Vine. The result? My first iconic pull! Only started collecting Lorcana with this set, about 40 packs in. I’m assuming that’s not a realistic pack-to-pull ratio, so I’m thrilled.

The Wife and I started collecting and I went OCD on the sorting

I did Set, Ink, Cost, and then alphabetical. First pic is all of them and then sorted. It got out of hand fast. I desperately need a binder haha

Lorcana Store Display

I’m selling my Lorcana Winterspell Store popup since i’m downsizing my collection. I can’t find this anywhere & was curious how much it might be worth. Any help?

Reign of Jafar trove delivers! What is your fave troves?

Big one again: really good pulls in these 2 god packs alone! A set that i honestly love but have never played (havent played with any cards released after Azurite Seas. Azurite i only played prerelease tournament games. Never again. The previous set i did the prerelease and had done 2 constructed events: after inklands and after ursula’s return

Rare / super rare / Legendary trio, a rare Lady foil and that Stitch legendary foil!

Really love that Reign of Jafar trove. The spacers for the ink types are amazing! My faves are pictures!

Got this Elsa gift set : opening an enchanted was ‘t in my plans !

Well… this was a birthday gift in advance. And it matters in how its randomness , picking which gift box on the shelf, what packs are inside: what was sealed in those packs…

All in all that is peak randomness and i will happily take it!

Something a lot of people might not have noticed during D23 is that they updated their card count for printed cards. It tells us a lot.

AotV Lorecast we were told they printed 2.5 billion cards in the last 3 years (sets 1-12) and during the D23 Lorcana show they said it was now 2.8 billion. (sets 1-13)

This means AotV got (FORGOT ABOUT THE CURATORS OOPSIE POOPSIE) 300 ~250 million cards printed in total. This gives us confirmation of how much they are printing per set nowadays. That means AotV alone accounts for ~8.9% of the total Lorcana cards that are out there. This is very likely the most printed set they have done since the first year of Lorcana. They are absolutely increasing the amount they're printing, but its still not enough to meet demand. Either they were somehow able to negotiate extra printing from MPG or they anticipated this from the very beginning. Either way I expect future sets to continue getting increased amounts of product. Hyperia City will probably be in the realm of ~350 million cards printed. Into the Inkdark will very likely be the most printed set in Lorcana history.

Sadly, with that and the announcement of set 17 next summer, it also kind of confirms we are very likely not going to be getting any reprints for the foreseeable future. And if we do, it will be an extremely low amount of cards printed so all of the potential product they will get out of it will be gobbled up just as fast and will barely impact the prices. They simply do not have the numbers to support reprints right now. So they likely know that it's not worth sacrificing print allocation for that and they're just better off putting it all into the next new set.

Purchasing Packs

Dumb question. But I am new to Lorcana and open to opening some packs to collect and play. Is it pretty much impossible to get older sets from any stores now or where would I buy them? Do big retailers like Walmart and Target only have the newest products which would AOTV? Just dont want to get scalped buying anything.

I need advice/opinions on this.

Went to card show in search of Pokémon and ended up leaving with about 15 packs of Attack of the Vine!! While doing a family rip session, we pulled the Iconic Lilo & Stitch. Upon further inspection, it has the crimp error. What do I do? CGC grade? Hold? Sell raw?

Why the official Disney Lorcana TCG digital game is a huge win for physical collectors & Iconic/Enchanted Cards holders 💎 🚀

An official digital game is massive news for anyone holding physical Enchanted and Iconic cards.
A mobile global TCG Lorcana game client will introduce millions of casual fans to Disney Lorcana for free.

As the player base grows, thousands and thousands of those players will want to own real-life cards and play at local game stores or collect.
While digital cards can be printed infinitely on a server, physical Enchanteds / Iconics will still have a strictly limited real-world supply.
That sudden spike in player demand against a fixed physical supply is what pushes high-end card values up over time.

Digital pixels can never replace the real-life flex of displaying a binder full of Iconics/Enchanteds or owning a graded slab.

Historically in games like Pokemon and Magic, digital clients only made the rarest physical chase cards far more valuable 🚀 🤩

Collector boosters more info from D23 and new Illustrious rarity look

12 foil cards per pack, higher rates for enchanted and iconics as well as a unique serialized rarity added to Collector booster boxes. The new serialized Illustrious rarity will only have 6 cards and each will only have 23 copies as shown. These boxes will be available at LGS, RB store online and parks. How we feeling about these news guys? I’m a bit uneasy about collector boxes in general but glad they seemingly didn’t take from the regular boxes will see how these go once released.
