Buyer believes these are counterfeit

As the title states. I’ve sold over 10,000 cards on eBay and this is the first counterfeit accusation I’ve received. I’m extremely familiar with how to spot fakes and take pride in great customer service, so would hate to take a negative review on something like this especially given these are clearly authentic and came from booster packs. Customer believes they are “too thick” and color is off. The rarity symbols are perfect, raised foiling is there, and artists symbol is fine. Nothing out of the ordinary. Can anyone help offer a second opinion?

How do you go about buying collections without FB Marketplace?

I know it’s the norm, but I live in an area where FB marketplace is out of the question. Has anyone successfully bought / sold collections online? If so what’s the safest way to do it? I sell on eBay / TCGplayer with over 10k sales but have yet to do many collection buyouts.

Item says delivered but never arrived—Case denied by eBay and unable to resolve

I ordered an expensive item that was marked “DELIVERED AT DOCK” by UPS and never delivered to my address. I open a INR case but eBay sided with the seller saying it “delivered” even though it clearly says it was received by a postal facility and not my residence, and no photo evidence of delivery could be provided. I cannot open a claim with UPS because the seller has restricted claims by buyers and refuses to open a claim. At this point I don’t know what to do.

PSA: do not invest your money based on content creator advice

I’ll start by saying if you’ve seen Joey’s videos you know 99% of what he says is for emotional effect and should not be taken seriously. There are several other better YouTubers that I think have interesting takes on the market, but at the end of the day you need to be doing your own research and speculation before trusting a YouTuber and investing your hard earned money. Keep in mind their goal is not to make you wealthy, it’s to generate clicks, and negative or controversial topics generate the most clicks. So take these videos with a grain of salt, do your research, and be careful with your money.

TLDR: No reprints were announced, confirmed, or even hinted. Fabled backstock was sold at Gen Con so a shitty YouTuber made clickbait for views. Lorcana is thriving.

The scalping is going crazy

These are just 3 of hundreds of listings I’ve seen recently across eBay/Mercari where you can see no-life scalpers raiding the shelves of local Targets and doubling the prices in the parking lot. Can’t even be bothered to take good listing photos. This will continue as long as people choose to buy from them. So stop buying from them and let the prices go back to normal.

Thanks!

PSA for sellers: scotch tape does not belong on or around collectible cards

STOP USING TAPE. It’s unnecessary and requires force to open. I can’t stand getting an order in and seeing the seller has taped a soft sleeve or top loader shut requiring 5 minutes of careful peeling and bending to get the card free and HOPEFULLY not cause any damage. Invest in team bags and better supplies. If there’s someone out there preaching to use tape tell them to stop.
