Why Does No One Talk About This Card?
Hi everyone!
I’m wondering why no one talks about the Mickey Mouse True Friend DVC 10/P3 Promo. I’ve never seen a creator or really anyone talking about it online.
Here’s what I found:
“The Disney Lorcana Mickey Mouse - True Friend (10/P3) promo card is an elite collector's holy grail released exclusively during a highly restricted Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Member Cruise. Its significance skyrocketed because the game's co-designer, Ryan Miller, was physically on the cruise ship hosting the event, allowing a tiny handful of passengers to get their copies directly from the creator himself. It wasn't handed out freely; passengers had to meticulously pre-book a limited, unhosted "Disney Lorcana TCG Collector Quest" via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to earn it. Featuring the classic Dave Beauchene art from The First Chapter, this version is easily distinguished by its specialized Cruise Line bottom logo and an underlayer holographic "wave and anchor" foil lure pattern unique to the Year 3 cruise promotions. Because its distribution was strictly bound to a single itinerary's passenger list, it suffers from absolute static scarcity”
From what I can tell there’s currently <150 cards that have ever been graded and likely less than a couple hundred exist.
My understanding is it’s one of the most expensive and scarce Mickey cards on the market. This feels like a great pick and can potentially be a “must have” for major collectors with huge upside. But ultimately it seems almost unheard of.
Happy to discuss and let me know your thoughts
