Visiting for the Week - What would you do?

I’m in Rockwall for a conference this week, and am looking for recommendations for things to do in the evening.

I’m not a drinker, so no looking for bars. I am excited for some TexMex cuisine.

Leveling Up: Omelettes - Looking For Tips

After making the breakfast meat, pancakes and breakfast sandwiches for the crew, I wanted to make myself a mushroom, garlic, tomato and cheese omelette.

Here was my process:

  1. Cook the veggies, move to the side
  2. Water and scrape the griddle
  3. Low heat
  4. A little bit of butter where the egg would go
  5. Slowly pour the beaten egg and try really hard to contain it!!
  6. Let the egg set a bit, then add veggies
  7. Add cheese
  8. Fold over
  9. Flip

Anyone have any other tips or refinement to the process to dial this in?

Salmon Burgers

Keeping it simple… salmon, garlic, parsley. Topped with your choice of cheese, cucumber, romaine and tomato. Some tartar sauce. Tater tots and a pickle on the side.

88888.8 Miles and only 2% Battery Degradation

Odometer read all 8s at a stoplight, so I took a look at the OBD-II and see that I’m at 98% SOH.

Twice I week I charge to 100%, most days to 90%.
