Appreciation post for all of you!!!

Whether you’ve been here since the lace-up days or found mgk through a random song that hit at the right time, it’s cool seeing people connect through music that actually says something. A lot of artists make songs you hear. mgk makes songs people feel.

This sub has people sharing concert memories, tattoos, struggles, growth, old tracks, new eras, and everything in between. Different opinions, different favorite albums, different backgrounds, yet everyone’s here because something in the music connected.

Life gets heavy sometimes and music really does help people survive things they don’t always talk about. That’s why communities like this matter.

I just wanted to say I appreciate y’all for making this a great place for fans of all kinds to come and chill.

mgk was recently on The Garza Podcast and host Chris Garza asked him if the line in his song “FIX UR FACE” is in fact about Yungblud as fans have been speculating

The lyric is “Mickey Mouse kids turned rockstars. Leaving private schools, tryna be outlaws."

mgk confirmed the issued stemmed from Yungblud not defending him while on The Osbournes podcast saying

“Loyalty is the only thing that matters, when I open my heart, that means I’m vulnerable and I’ll let you in and so when someone’s given an opportunity to defend their friend and they don’t that breaks my heart it shatters me. Be my friend, the same way in public that you are in private.”
