Help with a WWE related university project

Hi guys

So, this post is, like it says in the title about asking for help. So, I'm currently doing my thesis and it's about WWE on Netflix. This is the title of my thesis: "La participación de la audiencia y sus contribuciones a la narrativa de las transmisiones deportivas. Caso WWE en Netflix" ("Participation of the audience and its contributions to the narrative of sports broadcasts: case WWE on Netflix").

So, I have to make a text which is not the full final thesis yet, but it's about the topi I will be treating on that thesis, and in one part, I explain about how WWE has been aiming mostly at having moments that are viral on sites like instagram and tik tok, mostly with the obnioxious amount of celebrities that have appeared recently on programming, like Eric Andre, Jelly roll, ishowspeed, Lil Yachty, and perhaps the main offender, Pat McAffee, Yeah, I know he appeared previously on WWE but we know what TKO tried to do when they put him in the Cody vs Randy storyline. And yeah, I know Speed appeared in some moments before, like Mania 40 and the 2025 Royal Rumble, but still, his appeareance wasn't just that of other celebrities that appear on previous years in WWE, not even Bad Bunny's appeareance felt like that.

Now here's a problem, even though I wrote that text based on what we've seen on WWE programming recently, I have not found any articles talking about WWE's attempt at finding the "viral moment", specially academic articles. I only found videos mentioning this situation and well, I really cannot count them as sources, and for this part of this text, I need reliable sources.

So I was wondering if anyone here could help me with that, I would really appreciate it a lot.

(And yes, I posted this on other communities, no, I'm not a bot, I just really need help)

Tonight in Raw we NEED…

Tonight on Raw…

Not happy how we got here but fuck it we’re here…

Haven’t been the biggest fan of Sami since the rinse and repeat failed underdog but it doesn’t matter anymore simply because he’s the champ, at least not rn… All WWE needs to do is have him pin Codarious Rhodington clean tonight. No interference, no dirty tactics, no ref fault.. just have it be a clean loss.. and keep having Sami be like “no don’t cheer for me now” they could build champ Sami like crash-out Ramadan Sami… that guy is cracked… doesn’t matter how we got here so long as creative keeps the momentum..

It further blurs the line because of all the speculation of Sami potentially losing tonight or even sooner with the wwe staff talking about the uncertainty is hard to work with have it be a clean win tonight and let Sami further develop into a “idc about your opinion anymore” guy it’ll also allow Cody to further go heel.. just a thought how do yall feel?

Will this feud happen before either retires?

I could see this being a match for one of the Saudi shows. I imagine the promos would be insanely good and given that these two are veterans, could tell a terrific story on the ring.

Google AI thinks Michelle McCool's brother is Yokozuna

Decided to look into the Hall of Fame and see how many people that have been inducted are related, type in "WWE Hall of Famers that are related", half of the results are non-HOF wrestlers with HOF relatives, but then it goes on to explain that some in-laws are in there, using the example of Undertaker and Kane being kayfabe brothers but that Undertaker is the brother-in-law to Yokozuna... Yokozuna is not Michelle McCool's brother... Or related to them at all

Best No DQ matches in history?

I’ve gotten to like the No DQ matches, when it looks like a lot of wrestlers seem to cut loose because everything’s allowed. But what are the best matches in the history of WWE? My new personal favorite is Rhea vs Raquel in a street fight last year.

Eager to hear from the sub.

Why does Roman get a free pass for being champion, but Cody is constantly criticized?

This is something that, I don’t understand. Most of it is coming from the IWC. They seem to have this almost hatred for Cody Rhodes. Yet, Roman Reigns has consistently either been champion, or been in championship contention for about 11 years. Why the double standard? Throughout the history of wrestling, the top guys have been champion, or been in contention. Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Stone Cold, John Cena.

This is normal booking, to have Cody Rhodes at the top of the card. He’s the number one baby face in the company. Why would he not be champion or chasing the championship? Cena was in the championship picture for about 10 years or so. He would lose the belt, but he would always get it back at some point. That’s why, I’m just mystified at the constant attacking of Cody Rhodes. Why does Reigns get a pass, but not Cody?

I'm starting to think Oba Femi will win Money in the Bank

Considering that Money in the Bank is in September this year, it makes sense why he's chasing Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam now. He'll probably become known as The Ruler In The Bank or something like that, and he'll cash in on Reigns to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

I hate when heels get treated unfairly.

I hate when heels get treated unfairly, and everyone acts like they’re automatically wrong just because they’re the heel. A good example is the Raw GM making Sami defend on Raw while Roman only had to wrestle a handful of times a year. And this isn’t even a rant about Roman it’s about fairness. When a heel says, “This is unfair,” people treat it like he’s just whining, but sometimes he’s actually right.

The gingerbread man thing was funny because it wasn’t for the top belt, so whatever that one I can let slide. And clearly it was meant to be funny. But with the WWE title situation, Sami genuinely had a point.

When he was the referee, he called everything straight. Cody shoved him for making the correct call. Gunther shoved him for making the correct call. And Nick didn’t really do anything about either situation.

Now Sami wins the title, and once again, he’s right. Jey is his boy. Sami never tried to take the belt off Jey when Jey was champion, but the first thing Jey does is come after him.

I know the joke is that Sami is “the last good guy,” but honestly, at this point, he kind of is.

The Demon Finn Balor gimmick deserved so much better.

The theme song, the makeup, the pyro, the entrance setup, and Finn’s body language.. everything about the Demon gimmick was flawless. It’s a crime WWE failed to properly capitalize on it and push it to the next level. It genuinely deserved to be protected as a top-tier attraction. ✌️

Is it just me or Cody Rhodes' attacks looks very phoney live?

I mean his punches and attacks are too obvious that they are not connecting.

I was at Clash in Italy near the front row, so I was near the action. Cody vs Gunther was the first match and I was dismayed that the way he wrestles is like what.

Other wrestlers were not obvious and looks like they were really fighting and the attacks were connecting. Is this really how Cody wrestles? Or it was just an off day for him?

I saw him live waaaay back but I was too far away to notice(Dashing Cody).
