Who is one wrestler you would sell your soul to get one more match?

I would have to say Kurt angle. I know his last run in wwe was bad but it wasn't his fault imo. Just bad booking/ he was aging. But man what i would have gave to see him in a meaningful fued for a title in those days. Felt like a wasted opportunity to me, having one of the best of all time back in wwe and using him like a mid carder/ only on mic role.

Who is this?

2 of the screen grabs are from the aftermath of Savage / Warriors at WrestleMania 7 when Elizabeth saved Savage from getting hit by Sherri.

The screen grab of her holding the sign is from after Savage won from the belt from Flair at WrestleMania 8.

I'm assuming she's an employee or somehow related to Randy/Elizabeth.

Any ideas?

kerry von erich

i recently learned about the von erich family and am so unbelievably intrigued by the fact that kerry von erich wrestled for years with a partially prosthetic foot. if there is anyone in this subreddit that has been following wrestling for 40+ years, i'm curious if there was any speculation that he may have had the amputation? were there rumors? knowing now that he had a prosthetic, it's easier to notice that his right boot appeared fuller. i know there's a story about his boot being pulled off during a match, but did word spread and did people believe it? or did it seem like a made up story since the von erichs were insistent that kerry was healed? thanks!

The Vision is a Dismal Failure

Just caught up with Raw, and as it faded out, I cant help but feel like, even if it wasn't marred with injuries early, the faction would fail anyway.

Bron is doing great. But, the monster heel creative is trying to make him out to be just doesn't fit his physique when compared to other monsters. He has to constantly convince you that he is not the rookie underdog, when someone like Oba, Brock, Gunther, etc... don't have the same challenge (though Bron is doing great with the cards he's being dealt IMO)

Austin Theory has been given more mic time recently, and all of those opportunities fell flat. Now he had the main event of Raw with Rollins and just seemed to be going through motions and did nothing with that spot either.

Logan Paul stopped being impressive once he was put in The Vision. His promo weakened, his performances in ring have now become routine, and his outrage at Joe Hendry seemed over played and out of place for him too.

This is also the first time in a very long time that Paul Heyman's association with talent(s) did less to uplift them and more to hurt his merit, as his talents aren't standing out in any meaningful way.

They're just all so very disconnected from the audience, the rest of the roster, and even each other. I just don't see how they dont quickly pull the plug and give all of them a break before a refresh.

It's just strange for me to see Paul Heyman at the helm of such a weak faction backed by poor creative. I can't imagine where we go from here, but I sure hope we everyone moves on from The Visio before they become SummerSlam's bathroom break. 😔

I was just thinking about it...

I feel really bad for The New Day, specifically Kofi Kingston. He had 12+ years in WWE and just got released like it was all worth nothing. I know this happened a while ago but still. WWE is actively destroying themselves. 12 years for nothing.

Hot take

Gunter is genuinely making me dislike WWE, he’s too OP, took predictable and I don’t really enjoy him at all knowing he just wins all of his matches. I think they had something after the Cena retirement, but fumbled it.

To be clear, he’s great on the mic, he’s a classic wrestler, great heel, but yeh.

I dunno, maybe it’s me, I’m open to people telling me I’m wrong and sharing why.

What Was The Funniest Match You've Ever Seen?!

I was watching a WWE Tag Team Championship Match yesterday on YouTube with Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty defending the titles against Rico & Charlie Haas. From opening bell to the finish, I was legit crying, rolling on the ground, & gasping for air. I don't think I've laughed so hard at a wrestling match before. If there's anyone that hasn't watched that match, go watch it. You will be dying on the ground like I was.

I miss the reactions

Growing up, I enjoyed watching WWE in the late Attitude era and throughout the Ruthless Aggression era. As I got older, I lost a bit of interest, briefly rekindling my love for it in 2010-2014.

It wasn't until late 2023, when I started seeing WWE content popping up on social media that my interest was piqued. Following WM40, I was hooked again.

Since then, something that I have found really enjoyable is the reaction content creators, in particularly Santizap, but there a lot of good creators out there. This was especially useful when I did not had time to watch a full episode - not a kid anymore, family and work stops my WWE viewing pleasure 😂

Part of this enjoyment is the community that comes with it; like minded people around the same age - being from the UK, it's not particularly popular so not many people to talk to about it or to enjoy it with.

Since WWE's, or more TKO's, decision to shut the reaction videos down, I have found my enjoyment of the product has dwindled.

These played a big part of keeping me watching and have brought viewers back to the product. This decision must surely be damaging for them.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm sure I'm not the only one.
