This came after Paris Hilton's Stars are Blind so it was going for that reggae-pop sound. She was supposed to have a whole pop album out on Hollywood Records but I think it got scrapped when this song didn't take off.

As we know the original film and Part V don’t have Jason as the killer, and in part two he doesn’t even have the hockey mask and is very different from the supernatural Jason he’d eventually become.

Would anyone be interested in Friday the 13th sequels that don’t feature Jason or Pam, but keep other core aspects of the franchise like Crystal Lake, campers, the string score, the date of Friday the 13th etc. Or would you flat out refuse to support F13 films without Jason?

I personally think that there’s SO many fresh things they could do with the franchise if they lost Jason as the hockey mask wearing killer, and for me personally it would still feel very much like the F13 universe as long as Crystal Lake played a big part. But I get that a lot of fans only watch for Jason.
