Jennifer Graziano Shares Update on Where "Mob Wives" Revival Plans Stand
More than 10 years after Mob Wives ended its six-season run, the show’s creator, Jennifer Graziano, revealed that plans are in motion for a revival of the series that followed the wives and daughters of those connected to the Italian American Mafia in New York City.
“Networks reached out to me last year wanting a reboot, but they wanted a different show,” Jennifer exclusively shared with E! News during a joint interview with her older sister and Mob Wives star Renee Graziano. “They didn't want the same old—and I don't mean old people—cast members. They didn't want the same old stories. They wanted new cast members, with all the other sprinkled in.”
And while Renee joked that her sister was calling them “old girl,” Jennifer shared how the new show would be a new kind of familigia—with Renee as the glue from the previous series.
“Same theory, but different cast members. And they wanted it multigenerational,” the 54-year-old explained. “We have about nine new cast members. Some in their 30s, some in their 40s. They're all kind of new age in the sense that they're looking at it from a different perspective.”

(I’m on season 2, episode 7.) I have a lot of thoughts on this show because I kind of grew up in the same Italian loyalty neighborhood hierarchy, so I find this show truly fascinating but also comforting because a lot of it was what I lived, but I really enjoy Renee and Carla and most of the time Drita, but I think Carla is absolutely gorgeous, she’s so calm, cool, and collected and just trying to be cool with everyone, and I respect that so much. I do think she can be a little bit of a pushover, though. I’m still early on the show, so maybe my opinions will change, but Karen and Ramona are annoying, tbh. I kind of assume production pushes these kinds of things, but I just feel like Karen isn’t all that she says she is, and Drita, I understand being kind of an outcast; being Slavic/Balkan in such a different world is hard, and being ostracized was something else I experienced, so I have a soft spot for her, but my consensus of this show is that I love it a lot, and it’s what I wanted RHONJ to be like, lolz. Also, I added I’m a little tipsy, so I might not be making complete sense, but I just needed to get my feelings out, haha, because it is quite an enjoyable show so far.
Karen, who are you fooling?
This looks nothing like her! (Yes, I liked the post anyway LOL).
