bomb them again - ogri'la quest keeps bugging

Apologies for formatting and a lack of proofreading. My phone is dumb and my thumbs are fat.

Basically though, I consistently can't get progress on the bomb them again daily in blades edge. I throw the bombs, my bombs land and destroy the cannonball pile, but I get no quest credit. Google said to try logging in and out in the bombing area and that has never worked. I logged in an out elsewhere. Nope. Abandoned the quest and picked it back up. Nope. Went to a raid, killed lady vagoo, came back after a few hours. Nope.

I logged in and out all over the place including outside the bombing area, and eventually it started working. The next day, I stopped getting credit after the 5th bomb. Had to again relog all over the map 20 times or so and then magically it started working again.

Anyone have any experience with this? For reference I'm a druid in flight form. I don't know if flight form matters, might bring a regular flyer with me next time.

Hey, nerds

I haven't played in a while and wanted to pick up the game for a couple runs. My preferred way to play is on higher zombie difficulty with horde every night, or horde every 3 nights with a slight random range.

I'm looking for some melee base ideas. I used to run a broad corridor kill site with 4 corner poles to stop the zombs, and use the sloped ramps to toss pipebombs. Id melee the night away and repair as I went.

The 4 pole corners doesn't seem to work like it used to. A lot of zombies climb over and under, and early especially I'm mostly meleeing so I was having trouble surviving. I see some people use different shapes and they look rough for getting your sledgehammer where it needs to be without chunking your own blocks.

Looking for cool ideas to design my base for melee defenses, especially early before electric fences and turrets.

I do not like gimmicks - no floating bases or infinite loops or zombs that fall off easily unless it's part of a fun design. ( I once made the floor a garage door that I could open to drop zombies into a pit)

Sorry for the lack of editing.
