Every single lecture I go to I feel like I am having trouble retaining the information that the professor is saying. I'll sit there with no distractions listening to the professor, but none of the information is sticking to my brain. Is this happening to others and also does anyone have any tips to combat against the information going in one ear and out the other. Btw I do take notes during my lectures.
Hi there, I am going into university and I will be doing my nursing prerequisites (Anatomy, physiology, stats, microbiology, biology, sociology, and economics). I've never had a laptop before so I'm not sure what is good. I am on a budget and I do live in Canada. I found one that seems pretty decent. I'll mostly be using it to study, do assignments, take notes, and maybe play a little roblox. Should I buy it?
So I have dental and health insurance through my father already. Is it possible for me to ask them to not include the dental and health plan in my tuition since I plan on staying with my dad's insurance? If yes, where would I go to be able to remove it?

So I just graduated and they announced that I got a u of m entrance scholarship ( University of Manitoba Queen Elizabeth II Entrance Scholarship). There was no paper saying I got it only that the person reading said it. My average is way less than a 95%. I plan on doing u1 in the fall. So did the university make a mistake?
