Polar Street X GPS Stress Test

A few days ago, I ran 10km in central Bangkok, Thailand. There were skyscrapers, overhead cables, traffic, huge concrete structures and the single-band GPS tracked the run extremely well considering the signal disturbances. Occasionally the real-time pace would be clearly-off, but was generally pretty good.

When I first got the watch, I saw a lot of negative feedback about not having multi-band GPS. But now I have no doubt that the watch performs well. The flashlight really came in clutch in some sketchy alleyways too.

What wood is the back/sides?

I just bought this guitar, which is made by a Scottish luthier in 2012. It’s all solid and french polished… I can tell the top is a spruce, but the back and sides I’m not sure. I’ve never seen indian rosewood look like this but maybe it is.

New 5K PB but need help with foot fatigue/pain

I’ve been consistently training for around 6 weeks now, and this is the first time that I’ve been able to run a 5K continuously without walking. Although my cardio fitness is definitely getting better, I’m finding my feet are consistently fatiguing out before my cardio. Also, I woke up the next morning with some knee and ankle soreness that I usually don’t get.

What can I do to stop my feet muscles and connective tissues from bottlenecking my runs?

Stats: late 20s male, 5’11 87kg 17% BF, working out on-off since 16 but totally new to taking running seriously, shoes adidas boston 12, but also barefoot/minimalist sometimes

What kind of bracing is this?

Was changing the strings and had a look inside… it looks like a hybrid between a fan and a lattice. Anyone familiar with it?
